Physics 20 Reading List for the week of 2/7/2005

All the readings for this week are about the numerical solution of ordinary differential equations.

After reading through the first part of the assignment (but before tackling it), read Ch. 16.0 in Numerical Recipes.

After reading through the second part of the assignment (but before tackling it), read pages 1-6 of Geometrical Numerical Integration, by E. Hairer, C. Lubich, and G. Wanner, which is being provided as a handout.
